The 28th annual United Nations (UN) Climate Change Meeting, COP28, was held in Dubai (UAE) from 30 November to 12 December 2023.

During the Summit government representatives – including Greek Prime Minister, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis – discussed ways to tackle global warming and climate change. The Prime Minister, in an interview during the Summit, stressed that Greece’s goal is a “holistic green approach”.

More specifically, the Tessera Sustainable Packaging^® series was presented to the keynote speech delivered by the representative of Atatreh Group, one of the main sponsors of the event, Dr. Hannai Atatreh, in the presence of Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, President of COP28, as an alternative proposal for the transition to more environmentally friendly food packaging.

Dr. Atatreh gave a speech to the representatives of the Green Belt, where global warming and ways to confront the climate phenomenon were discussed. In this context, the speaker presented the Greek line of consumable food packaging products, Tessera Sustainable Packaging^®, highlighting the benefits of using its products, due to the fact that they are made from sustainable materials. He underlined, above all, their environmentally friendly properties, as they are types of packaging which are recyclable, compostable, biodegradable, etc.
